We’re adding dates to the tour calendar almost DAILY! Check the “Schedule” page to see if we’ll be making it to your neck of the woods, this fall!
August has been great so far and it’s been a joy connecting with our fans on the road this month. This past weekend we spent three days in Ohio at Helping Hands Midwest. We put on a concert, talked with families, and also gave some guitar tips to budding guitarists (as pictured above). Thank you to The Lucky Fin Project for making our involvement possible!
This coming weekend (August 10th, 2014) we’ll be speaking and playing at Destination Church in Waycross Georgia (www.destination-church.org). All are welcome!
Have a great week, everyone!
“I Know We’ll Get There” was written during the VH1 and Republic Records “You Oughta Know” Make a Band Famous competition. After being narrowed down to the Top 8 bands in the New York City rounds, the contestants were challenged to write a new original song about “fame.”
Lesleigh and I had a matter of hours to write together overnight. We were in a room with the 7 other bands, overlooking New York Harbor, and the Statue of Liberty. The challenge really tested us, but we are very proud of the end result.
This song helped carry us all the way to 4th place, and we are especially moved by the HUGE outreach from our fanbase. Thank you for supporting us along the way. This one’s all for you!

Lesleigh and I recorded a cover of The National’s “I Need My Girl.” Watch, like, and share, if you’re willing. Thanks so much, guys!
VERY excited about this news… I was asked to compose the music for a new play that debuts this week! My friend (author) Candida Sullivan has written a great series of books for kids and families about a zebra named Zippy… an adaptation of her newest story “Zippy’s Club” will debut on stage this Wednesday.

I’ve been invited to open for the band Run Boy Run this Friday (3/21) at Shank Hall in Milwaukee! The band has been featured twice on NPR’s famous show “A Prairie Home Companion.” The show starts at 8pm and it is sure to be a great night. Tickets are just $10! Come on out!
In 2012, I was commissioned to compose orchestral and choral arrangements of my original songs to be performed alongside the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. Composing the symphony took me the better part of a year, and after much work and preparation, the debut concert date has been set for March 15th, 2014.
The band and I are thrilled to be performing alongside some of the best musicians in Wisconsin, under the direction of Dr. Kevin McMahon. I’d like to invite you to join us at the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts, this March, to be a part of what is sure to be an unforgettable evening.
TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE. CLICK HERE to visit the Sheboygan Symphony website for more details.
